1. Image Archiving Policy

Upon downloading the images, the client assumes full responsibility for archiving and safeguarding the digital photographs. Lake City Photos does not maintain a permanent archive of purchased or non-purchased image files. Lake City Photos is not liable for the longevity of any digital media provided or for any future technological changes that may affect the readability of these files. It is the client’s duty to ensure that digital files are regularly backed up and transferred to new media formats as technology evolves.

2. Post-Session Image Delivery

Final Payment Requirement
The editing process begins only after the receipt of the final payment. Delivery timelines are based on the date the final payment is received.

Gallery Access

You will receive an email with a link to your online gallery containing fully edited images. You may download these images, back them up, and print them through any lab of your choosing. Printing options are also available directly from the gallery.

Individual portrait sessions: Gallery will be delivered within 14 days
Team and Content Sessions less than 4 shooting hours: Gallery will be delivered within 14 days
Team and Content sessions over 4 shooting hours: Gallery will be delivered within 28 days

Extended Turnaround Time
Please note that some sessions may require additional time for editing and delivery. If your session falls into this category, you will be informed about the expected extended timeframe.

Downloading Images

Entire Gallery: Download the complete gallery in high resolution by clicking the download button (a small downward arrow next to the "buy photos" button) and following the prompts. Note that high-resolution downloads must be done on a computer.
Individual Images: To download individual images to your computer, click the small downward arrow below the large gallery image.
Mobile Downloads: For downloading images to your phone, click the image to open it in a larger format and then save it from there to maintain quality.

Important: Do not right-click and save the image directly from the gallery, as this will save a low-resolution thumbnail instead of the high-resolution file.

3. Privacy Policy

Collection and Use of Client Images

By participating in a photo session with Lake City Photos, you acknowledge that the photographer may use images from the session for portfolio purposes, marketing, social media, and promotional materials unless you explicitly request otherwise. You can opt-out of this by informing us in writing before or during the session.

Personal Information

Lake City Photos collects personal information provided by clients to facilitate booking, communication, and service delivery. This includes your name, contact details, and session preferences.

Sharing Client Images

Images may be shared on Lake City Photos’ website, social media platforms, and other marketing materials to showcase the studio's work. Lake City Photos respects your privacy and will not use any images in a way that could be deemed harmful or inappropriate. If you prefer not to have your images used for these purposes, please notify us at info@lakecityphotos.com

Data Security and Retention

Lake City Photos implements measures to secure your personal data and protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure. Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for service delivery or as required by law. Once no longer needed, your data will be securely deleted or anonymized.

4. Copyright and Usage Rights

Copyright

Lake City Photos retains full copyright ownership of all images produced during your session. This includes the right to use the images for promotional purposes, portfolio display, and marketing.

Usage Rights

Clients are granted full usage rights to the images for both personal and commercial purposes, which includes printing, sharing on social media, using the images for personal branding, and promoting their business. However, clients may not sell the images or transfer them for resale purposes without explicit written permission from Lake City Photos.

Restrictions on Commercial Use

Clients are prohibited from selling the images, licensing them to third parties, or using them for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Lake City Photos.
